Previous experience

 

With over 12 years experience in the Investment Banking sector, Nicholas is committed to introducing only the best products and tangible assets for the resolve of his clients.

His passion for providing client satisfaction was ignited at the multinational Credit Suisse where, as a young man he championed the Operational Settlements Department and during this time, he gained exposure to the European Markets.

 

He was then headhunted by Barclays Capital and gained a wealth of knowledge from being exposed to the Asia-Pacific Markets during his secondment in Singapore where he was appointed 'Subject Matter Expert' in OTC Derivatives.  

  

To add to his proficiency in Financial Markets, Nicholas spent his second secondment in New York City. Here he oversaw the systematic training of the existing Lehman Brothers staff after their take over by Barclays Capital in 2008.

This secondment in New York was particularly demanding as Nicholas was enforcing the company’s policy's and requirements via a town hall presentation which would sit approx 150-200 staff - his knowledge and expertise was tested daily as the subject matter expert in which he thrived.

Therefore, the time spent within Tier 1 investment banks gave Nicholas a great understanding of an extremely fast paced environment that evolves and reacts to market news on a daily basis with a company mission statement to always put the 'client' first, which Nicholas has now adopted as AWC's working ethos and implements daily within his own consultative career.
